The Sani Bello Foundation Scholarship Program is a beacon of hope for university students in Nigeria, offering a vital financial lifeline to those who are having difficulty covering their tuition costs. New candidates are advised to apply during their second year of study. For current beneficiaries, the scholarship is extended annually until graduation as long as they have maintained the necessary CGPA as stated below.
Conditions
Each applicant has to fulfill the following requirements:
The applicant MUST be enrolled full-time at a recognized postsecondary institution in Nigeria and MUST be a registered student there. Applicants that work part-time are not accepted.
A private applicant or one from a foreign institution or nation is ineligible.
The candidate must be a second-year student at the time of application.
The applicant must meet the minimum requirements of FIVE (5) credits in MATHS & ENGLISH LANGUAGE from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in no more than two sittings.
A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 is required of applicants.
Candidate MUST be enrolled in school full-time. Applicants who work part-time are not eligible.
Public personnel are not qualified.
On or before March 1, 2024, the applicant MUST present a copy of ALL credentials (as mentioned above), an admission letter, an online registration printout, a school identity printout (or a valid form of school identification), and a copies of the departmental course registration forms.
